The beta
GetRightOut gathers live music, comedy and theater from venues, ticket sellers and other public listings into one list for where you are, with what each act sounds like and a button to the tickets. It is open and free while we test it.
The beta runs in eleven cities
- Seattle, Los Angeles, Boulder, Missoula, Northampton, Chapel Hill, Detroit, Portland, Washington, DC, Austin and San Francisco / Oakland. Set Where to your city; How far starts at its metro area.
- Other places have listings too, with fewer labels and ticket links.

- Genre labels name the kind of music on a card; the ticket page share is cards whose Tickets button goes to the show's own ticket page (the rest go to its info page or the venue's site).
- How we check ourselves: in the last 7 days, 99.5% of the listings we could compare with their source matched it. We could compare 65% of all listings.
- Anywhere stops at 2,000 cards. With a place set, the list pages through the next 60 days.
Always confirm
- Dates, times and prices change. Check with the venue or the ticket seller before you go.
How to tell us
- If a show is wrong, tap “Something wrong?” on the show, or Requests/Errors at the top of the page, and we'll check it against the venue and reply.
- Requests/Errors also takes Add a Venue, Add an Artist and Request Coverage. Add your email only if you want a reply.
- Every report is read by a person.
Email
- Sign-in links from noreply@getrightout.com. Each works once and expires in 15 minutes. If one does not arrive, check spam or promotions.
- An acknowledgment when you report a problem (with “Something wrong?” on the show, or Requests/Errors at the top of the page), and a reply when it is resolved.
- Nothing else.
